Bhaktapur CBR started physiotherapy and counseling service, named Erik Physiotherapy and Counseling Center, as one of the separate program since June 1st, 2009. This service is not only for persons with disabilities rather for all. The main objective of this service is to provide qualitative physiotherapy service and essential counseling to any one who has problems of bone, joints, ,muscles ,neurological disorders or need this services because of any causes, including persons with disabilities. There is special privilege for persons with disabilities in this service. Served by competent and experienced human resources, this center has been providing its services to the people of Bhaktapur district in a very reasonable and affordable price. The collected amount will be utilized for the sustainability of this center and promotion and protection of the rights of persons with disabilities. For the establishment, financially a Norwegian couple named Erik Dahl Hansen and Hide Beate Gudim supported for this center.
